We want you to enjoy the design process.
A great designer + a streamlined design process = a beautiful space and a happy client. Our clients have taught us that a designer should be a great listener, an excellent communicator, and an expert at designing spaces that fit their unique style and needs. Our designers are all of these things. Our clients have also been instrumental in helping us develop a clear and concise design process so that our services match their expectations. Here’s what you can expect:
Design Process
You complete a design questionnaire that tells us the scope of your project and we provide you with information about our fees, which includes a list of average design fees per room (see below).
We call you to gather additional information and answer any questions you may have.
We schedule your on-site initial consultation. This consultation takes about an hour and allows us to take photos/measurements and get to know you a little better.
We put together a design board for each space (examples below) and submit to you for approval.
Once the design is approved, we order your furnishings and source accessories and art.
Installation occurs after your pieces have arrived.
You get to enjoy your uniquely you space!
Questionaire
Our 15 item questionnaire is quick to complete and gives us great insight into your project.
Design boards help you conceptualize how the selected furnishings work together. We can easily incorporate your existing furniture into our design boards.
Fees
*After the design minimum has been surpassed you will be charged $150 per hour

Are you located outside of KC? We can still help.
E-design is a great way to get Lemondrop design and service even if you don’t live in the Kansas City area. Our design process is essentially the same except we complete a virtual initial walk-through and you send us your measurements and photos.
