The Staging Process

WALK-THROUGH CONSULTATIONS, OCCUPIED STAGING, AND VACANT STAGING

What level of staging do you need?

We offer walk-through consultations, occupied staging, and vacant staging. We realize you may be new to staging and may not know what you need. Here’s a description of each service.

Walk-through Consultations

Our walk-through consultations are for occupied homes and typically take around one hour. One of our stagers will walk through the home with the home-owner and make recommendations about how to prepare the home for sale. The walk-through can either be completed virtually or in-person. Our stagers are excellent at conveying hard-to-hear messages to homeowners. We provide notes on-site to summarize the visit. Visit our Hire Us page for information about our current rates.

Occupied Staging

An occupied stage is one step up from a walk-through. A stager will first complete the walk-through and may recommend some additional furnishings for rent in order to elevate the home even more. This level of service can vary quite a bit. Some homes may need a piece of furniture for one room or furnishings for an entire room. Pricing varies. The lease period for items rented usually last 30 days.

Vacant Staging

Vacant staging is the gold standard for marketing a home for sale/rent. It involves completely furnishing key rooms/areas within a home for a period of around 30 days or more. Our process involves requesting the address and photos of the interior spaces the seller desires to stage. An approximate bid is then provided prior to a stager visiting the home to take measurements. Once a contract is signed for staging and payment is made, the staging date is secured. Furnishings are removed prior to closing. the lease period may be extended past the initial 30-day term if necessary. See our Hire Us page for information about our current specials.
